Face-to-Face, Field Day Planning & “Mini” presentations

May 23 @ 19:00 - 21:00

Summer is almost here and that means that the annual ARRL Field Day is just around the corner.  At our May Face-to-Face meeting, we will cover some Field Day planning activities.

We’ll also be treated to several “mini” presentations on popular topics including:

  • APRS – what it is and how does it work?  Presented by Gary WB5PJB
  • LoRa devices – the why’s and hows of UHF APRS, how they work?  Presented by Jerry AG7U
  • PinPoint and APRS mapping – Introduction to PinPoint APRS software and mapping demo. Presented by Frank AB0WV

All interested amateur radio operators – or those interested in becoming amateur radio operators are welcome to attend the Face-to-Face meeting and even possibly win a LoRa tracker (if you have an Amateur radio license).  You must be present to win.

This will be a packed evening of great information shared with all interested.  Please come and join us.  All are welcome.
