ARESDEC Winlink Express Refresher/Training ZOOM Session

What if the internet is down and you are asked to provide situation reports to the States Emergency Operations Center? Do we use voice to convey the status of local power, water, and other services? Is there a better way to communicate this type of information?
Indeed there is and Winlink is all about sending email and reports via radio when there is no Internet available. ARESDEC is expected to use Winlink during our upcoming October SET. Are you ready?
If you haven’t used Winlink in a while, or if you have never used Winlink, this Zoom based training is for you. Without leaving the comfort of your shack, you can get up to snuff and refreshed on what you know, or get what you don’t know.
We’ll go over the basics of Winlink, using the Winlink Express application, and learn how to create and attach forms like the ICS-213, ICS-213RR, and the Field Situation Report. Be sure to join us on Wednesday, 9/13 at 19:00 to get all this and more.
