American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR AED Course

We announce a special CPR training class available to ARESDEC members that has been requested by several members.  This training is sponsored by the Colorado North Central All-Hazards Emergency Management Region https://www.ncrcolorado.org/.

This class is for American Heart Association HeartSaver certification.  The HeartSaver CPR AED course trains participants to give CPR and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely and effective manner.  The training reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

The full class size is only 18 seats. There has been a significant number of requests by our team for this class, so we think this will fill up quickly.  Although the training class is not planned for until October, we want to offer this to R1D5 first, and if we still have open seats, the link below will be offered to other sister ARES chapters as we get dangerously close to the date.

There will be a nominal $20 fee to attend the course, more information available on the webpage.

Helpful information on day of class

• Please bring whatever drinks/snacks you wish to enjoy during the class – there are no operational vending machines on-site.
• If on-site parking in Parker is full, just park legally along Bridle Path Lane.
