Our BrandMeister repeaters on TalkGroup 310842 are linked. The primary repeater is at Silver Heights and covers Castle Rock, Parker and “parts east” fairly well. We also have a (temporary) site south of Highlands Ranch, on the same TalkGroup, which simulcasts and helps with coverage in the NW part of the district. Originally, the linking was via a dynamic link and you had to activate the link via PTT. Now, they are “perma-linked” via static TG assignments on TimeSlot 2 of both repeaters so any activity on TG 310842 (ARESDEC) is heard on both repeaters.
We will occasionally hold district nets on those repeaters and members are encouraged to utilize them to help understand their coverage. They’re also a lot of fun to use accessing the BrandMeister network to talk all over the world.
