2024 New Member Training

ARES Region 1, District 5 (R1D5) congratulates Chris (AE0SE), Jarrett (WX0JLM), and Jim (N0DAX) for completing new member training.  NMT (New Member Training) took place on Saturday March 16th at the Parker United Methodist Church.  New members learned about the organization’s history, structure, and mission as well as current requirements and professional standards.  New members received a flash drive with lots of material related to ARES, ARRL, and other amateur radio information.  Of course, refreshments were served and enjoyed as well.  Wade (K0WJF) who is an Assistant Emergency Coordinator (AEC) in charge of training said, “I thought [NMT] was a great success.  And I learned many things to make me a better RADO.”
